Do you travel outside of Whangamata? - Potentially! Please contact me with your location and wedding date, as it depends on my availability. Travel fees will apply.
What if I want something different added in to our ceremony? I am happy to incorporate any special rituals or variations into your ceremony, such as Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony, Joining of Hands, and more.
How will you ensure our ceremony is unique, not a fill-in-the-blanks ceremony? - I take the time to find out about you and your story as a couple, so I can write something that is perfect for you. I will include as much or as little of your love story as you want.
We just want a short, simple ceremony. Can you do this for us? - I sure can! But short and simple doesn't mean boring and meaningless. Without being frilly or over-the-top I can put together a special ceremony for you and the friends and family who are coming to share it with you.
We're stuck on our vows. Can you help? I can give you examples of modern and traditional vows, plus a guideline for writing your own.
We would like to include a reading but how do we choose one that's suitable? - Choose something close to your heart, but if you're stuck I can give you a personalised selection to choose from.
What does your fee include? - My fee includes all pre-wedding meetings and correspondence, writing your personalised unique ceremony, rehearsal (if needed), the big day, and all legal requirements fulfilled. I can also supply PA system and signing table & chair.
What input do we have on the wording of our ceremony? I will use the information I get from you both to put a very special and unique ceremony together for you. I will always check I have my facts right, but I love to surprise you with your ceremony.on the day. However, if you prefer, I will share the writing with you every step of the way, so that you know exactly what you're getting, and your input is very welcome. It's all about you!
What if we want an off-peak wedding? If your wedding date is mid-week, or out of the summer season, I may be able to offer a special rate. Talk to me!
